Bill Thomson: After several years in engineering design and technical authorship, Bill’s first journalistic position was at Motor Boat & Yachting magazine. He first joined the staff of The Motorship in 1990, and after a few years he moved to become editor of Marine Propulsion and Small Ships magazines. He later edited Safety at Sea International and a couple of other marine and transport titles for the same company, before turning freelance and editing Ship & Boat International for RINA as well as Marine Propulsion under its new owner. He has also worked on magazines and events in the power generation industry.
