Norwegian ship owner Odfjell is embarking on an upgrade plan that it believes will give it one of the world’s most energy-efficient chemical tanker fleets, following a successful first installation on ‘Bow Clipper’ during scheduled dry docking in August.
Odfjell will meet compliance deadlines for IMO’s Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems (ECDIS) mandate after adopting e-navigation solutions from Navtor across its fleet.
