Dampers break into Asian market
Metaldyne damper ready for despatch to an Asian customer.
Metaldyne UK reports that it has recently delivered a torsional vibration crankshaft damper into the Asian market for two stroke engine production. This is one of a series of eight dampers.
The company, now part of the Carlyle Group, previously manufactured viscous dampers under the Holset name, and claims a 58-year experience in this field, which it says is characterized by a flexible approach to the market place , meeting customers’ high standards of technology and quality. The products are supplied globally, to the high speed, four stroke and two stroke engine markets. Metaldyne says it has delivered over 600 large viscous dampers to the marine and power generation markets.
