To provide marine expert support for multi-discipline offshore oil development studies.

Hierarchically reports to: Naval Architect Skills Group Manager, Business Unit Director

Typical background, qualifications and experience required:
Must have:

  • Relevant Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • 10 to 15 years’ experience, chartered engineer
  • Good general knowledge of the various offshore floating structures type and their performance

characteristics

  • Knowledge of mooring and motions analysis and model testing
  • Deepwater moorings experience preferable
  • General structural design knowledge
  • Knowledge of offshore installation techniques

Main accountabilities:

  • Roll will involve supporting concept field development studies

  • Good computer literacy with particular competence in MS office software.
  • Full command of English language written and spoken;
