AET gets new delivery

Tanker owner-operator AET, a wholly owned subsidiary of MISC Berhad, welcomed the newest addition to its rapidly growing fleet with the naming and delivery of the 107,000 dwt Eagle Turin at the Imabari Shipyard at Koyo Dockyard in Japan. Eagle Turin, which will fly the Singapore flag, becomes the 49th Aframax vessel operated by AET and brings the company?s total fleet of tankers to more than 70.

The next two months will also see AET expand its presence in the product tanker market with two new in-chartered 46,000 dwt MR2 tankers entering into service by the end of March.
