Craig Group company orders two PSVs
Two new Spanish-built PSVs for North Star Shipping
North Star Shipping, a division of the UK-based shipping and energy services Craig Group, has ordered two new 83m PSVs from Balenciaga Shipyard in Northern Spain for 2013 delivery.
The ships will be required for a new five-year contract with Talisman Energy (UK), in the North Sea. The two IMT-982 designed vessels, still to be named, will be 83m long with an 18m beam and have diesel electric propulsion systems for greater fuel economy and efficiency. They have been specifically designed to meet the requirements of Talisman Energy in the North Sea.
