MAN Turbocharger maintenance agreement
MAN PrimeServ’s turbocharger unit has signed a Premium Turbocharger Maintenance Contract with Associated Maritime Company (HKG) Ltd (AMCL).
This new contract initially covers approximately 36 turbochargers, installed aboard various vessels from the AMCL fleet operating worldwide. The turbocharger types covered by the contract are essentially TCA axial types for main engines, and NR radial types for auxiliary engines.
Under the terms of the agreement, PrimeServ will provide all relevant services as part of a complete maintenance package.
Accordingly, MAN PrimeServ Turbocharger – in coordination with the MAN PrimeServ network – will coordinate and plan all upcoming scheduled maintenance intervals for AMCL’s turbochargers, including the timely delivery of necessary spare parts.
AMCL is a ship management company historically linked with the Tung Group. During its long history, the Group was among the first in pioneering Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs) and has made innovative contributions to the development of Chinese the shipping industry.
