Filters added to equipment portfolio
Hatlapa of Germany has set up a subsidiary dealing in filtration
Hatlapa Marine Equipment, the German company best known for deck machinery, steering gear, compressors and fleet support, has added a range of filter products to its spare parts business.
The group has established a new subsidiary, Hatlapa Filtration Technology, which is based in Limassol, Cyprus, to supply coalescers and components for various brands of oily-water separators, lube oil and fuel filtration. Although Hatlaps says this is a new venture for the group, the team in Limassol has extensive knowledge of the filtration business gained over many years and will work in cooperation with Hatlapa’s group fleet support network.
The new venture is claimed to offer high quality, though its close co-operation with marine institutes and separator manufacturers, as well as competitive pricing and worldwide distribution from Singapore and Rotterdam.
