Dutch dredger to be built in Croatia

A previous large self-propelled cutter suction dredger, the 2,200dwt ‘Niccolo Machiavelli’ was built by Uljanik for Jan De Nul

Croatian shipbuilder Uljanik has signed a deal to build a self-propelled cutter suction dredger for Dutch firm IHC Global Production. The vessel is to have a length of 152m and a width of 28m, writes Jaroslaw Adamowski.
