Mexican salt exporter orders eco-friendly ship

ESSA’s new salt carrier vessel will significantly increase the throughput of the current fleet and reduce the cost of transportation by over 30%

Mexican state-run salt producer Exportadora de Sal SA de CV (ESSA), is reported to have signed a contract for a 15,000dwt specialist eco-friendly salt transport ship to be built at a Chinese yard.
