Viking Line's 'Viking Grace', the venue for this year's GFS conference

The 4th Motorship Gas Fuelled Ships Conference onboard the world's largest LNG cruiser, 'Viking Grace', will include two days of technical presentations on the future prospects of LNG and will include live ship to ship bunkering.

This unique event, which takes place from 11 to 12 September 2013,  will include a tour of the Viking Grace engine room on deck 1 which will provide delegates the opportunity to view the Wärtsilä engines powering the vessel as it journeys between Stockholm and Turku.

There will also be tour of the bridge on deck 9, where delegates will be able to learn about bunkering automation, including the process and equipment utilised during LNG ship to ship bunkering.

Live ship to ship bunkering between Viking Grace and the AGA LNG supply vessel Seagas will be able to be viewed live via a broadcast in the conference room and the vessel’s bridge as the process takes place in Stockholm Port.

Away from the technical presentations, the conference will also include a dinner on 11 September and buffet dinner on 12 September.
