Russia trials new submarine

Admiralty Shipyards, a St. Petersburg-based company, has started the second round of sea trials of a new diesel-electric submarine. The ?St. Petersburg?, a Project 677 or Lada-class diesel submarine, was designed by the Rubin design bureau and conducted factory sea trials in December 2005.
