Wilhelmsen appoints customer services manager
Wilhelmsen Ships Service has created a key post at the company’s headquarters in Oslo with the appointment of Trine Haug Hansen as international customer services manager.
Hansen will implement standardised processes and tools, best practice, operational guidelines and provide key sales and customer support. She will manage roles and responsibilities related to basic customer and vessel data, which includes the responsibility for central services in Kuala Lumpur.
Hansen started her career in shipping with Unitor in 1999 in customer service. She then moved on working in the Scandinavian sales team before joining international sales where she held a number of key positions, most recently as customer support manager. Her new role incorporates the former roles of customer support manager and sales support manager in the team.
Hansen comments: “I am very excited about taking on this new combined role. At Wilhelmsen Ships Service we are proud of implementing continuous improvement in all our systems and procedures, to make the customer’s experience as smooth as possible. I am looking forward to the challenges this involves.”
She will report to vice president international customer services, Siri Jacobsen.
