IMR/subsea construction vessel ’Neptune Larissa’, has been delivered from Zhejiang Shipbuilding in China to shipowner Neptune Offshore, the 50th ship to a design from the Norwegian Ulstein Group.

The new vessel is of Ulstein SX130 design.

Neptune Larissa, and sister vessel Neptune Despina, delivered on 27 October, have been chartered for five years to Reef Subsea and will be renamed Reef Despina and Reef Larissa.

Ulstein’s current generation of ship designs were introduced in 2000, and include designs with the distinctive X-Bow lines: 27 of the 50 Ulstein-designed ships delivered to date feature the X-Bow, while the other 23 are of conventional type.
