FFI to meet UK hydrogen demand by shipping ammonia from around the world

Dr Andrew Forrest of Fortescue Metals Group has established a subsidiary, Fortescue Future Industries, that is investing in the establishment of a hydrogen supply chain in eastern Australia.

Australia’s Fortescue Future Industries (FFI) wants green hydrogen to be the most globally traded seaborne energy commodity and is currently building an ammonia supply chain to satisfy UK demand.
