    Alfa Laval and NMRI have succeeded in onboard CO2 capture testing using an exhaust gas cleaning system. A limited trial demonstrated that a modified PureSOx exhaust gas cleaning system was able to absorb CO2 from the auxiliary engines in port, while operating in closed loop mode.

    Ecochlor has completed all land-based and shipboard testing for its filterless EcoOne ballast water management system (BWMS), the company has announced.
