We are looking for a talented, experienced corporate subscriptions professional to join our award winning B2B media company. This is a full-time office-based role in Fareham, with some occasional travel.

Mercator Media Ltd produces leading specialist magazines, exhibitions, conferences, and websites, predominantly serving the commercial marine sector with pan-European and international audiences.

The company is in an exciting growth stage, launching new virtual events plus a range of new digital services, communities, and subscriptions service. With multiple brands, websites, and events, this is a unique opportunity for a results driven and dynamic customer services professional to join a great B2B media company.

The successful applicant will have experience working with subscriptions, membership, or loyalty schemes. You are self-motivated, flexible, and driven, with good communication, IT, and organisational skills. With a portfolio of targets and KPI’s to achieve, you must be able to show initiative and work closely with the marketing department to ensure we promote our digital subscriptions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building strong relationships with clients, generating new subscriptions, lead generation and subscription retention
  • Collaborative working with the editorial team to drive subscriptions by sourcing and producing in-depth industry insight, intelligence, and key content
  • Develop and deliver the subscriptions marketing plan working with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Executive
  • Monitor and report on the success of marketing campaigns in driving subscriptions
  • Account management of existing clients and maximising opportunities to grow client base
  • Drive leads through conversations with new and existing clients
  • Deliver a high-quality client service experience, ensuring a fast and quality turnaround to all enquiries
  • Take responsibility and ownership for targets and KPI’s

Skills & Attributes:

  • Experience with corporate subscription, membership, or loyalty schemes
  • Experience in a customer service environment with B2B consultative service experience
  • A positive, can do attitude with willingness and ability to deliver both personal and team goals
  • You must have a passion and determination to deliver for your clients and exceed your personal targets
  • Experience of working with key clients, overseeing relationships, and ensuring maximisation of opportunities across client base
  • Effective communicator, able to converse with a variety of people at varying levels of seniority
  • Have strong organisational skills to track client opportunity, relationship management and sales pipeline management
  • A proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
