Korean Register in joint scrubber research projects

One of the objectives of the simultaneous reduction scrubber project is that the wash water treatment system should maintain nitrate levels below 60 mg/l during open loop operation.

The Korean Register of Shipping (KR) is participating in a government-funded project to develop systems to reduce particulate matter (PM) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions from low, medium and high-speed engines.
