SEB sees no fuel availability issues in 2020

Availability of 0.5% sulphur fuel will not be a problem if priced at US$90/tonne cheaper than 0.1% sulphur gasoil, a new analysis claims (credit: SEB)

A new analysis from Nordic corporate bank SEB suggests that a compliant fuel price of just US$90 per tonne under that of gasoil will guarantee availability when IMO’s global sulphur limit comes into force in 2020.
