Oshima Shipbuilding and DNV GL sign strategic cooperation

The “Oshima Ultramax 2030”, an innovative bulk carrier design developed in cooperation with Wärtsilä. was the first delivery under a strategic cooperation agreement between Oshima Shipbuilding and DNV GL.

Oshima Shipbuilding and classification society DNV GL have signed a long-term strategic cooperation to conduct R&D into new bulk carrier designs. Oshima unveiled the first design to result from the cooperation, the “Oshima Ultramax 2030” at Nor-Shipping 2019 in Oslo last week.
