CCCC Guangzhou Dredging Company has ordered a condition monitoring system from Bakker Sliedrecht for the submersible motors on its trailing suction hopper dredger Jun Yang 1. The solution is intended to improve the preventive maintenance of the motor, by analysing deviations in bearing vibrations.
