Mia Elg brings over 18 years of expertise in ship energy efficiency and marine machinery design. As the R&D Manager at Deltamarin, she leads the development of innovative products and services, oversees large-scale joint industry projects, and provides strategic consulting to clients.<\/p>\n
Her core competencies include thermal engineering, energy and environmental service productisation, energy balance calculations, energy flow simulations, and environmental impact assessments. Mia has also spearheaded the development of zero-emission ship machinery across multiple pioneering projects.<\/p>\n
She holds an academic background in thermodynamics and recently completed her doctoral studies at Aalto University, which have been performed over a decade at the side of her work.
