The company, which bought Oceansaver from bankruptcy in Setpebmer 2017, said that it had optimised engineering and production in the past year, as well as ensuring worldwide coverage for sales and service.<\/p>\n
Production of the system has been moved from Drammen to TeamTec\u2019s own production facility near Ris\u00f8r, where a new test facility dedicated to BWMS has been opened. The company has also boosted Oceansaver\u2019s international presence, adding its offices in Shanghai and Singapore to the existing Busan site.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have worked intensely to incorporate Oceansaver in our own existing systems,\u201d said Edvin Tunheim T\u00f8nnessen, head of sales & projects for BWMS, TeamTec. \u201cWe are constantly adding personnel to our lifecycle service department. In addition to providing service engineers and spare parts for existing customers, we have also increased our focus on training. We are improving our training material, offer simulator training, and will also soon launch an Oceansaver app for our customers.\u201d<\/p>\n
After a year of integrating the Oceansaver business, the company is now focusing on sales. T\u00f8nnessen noted that even during the implementation process the company received new orders, including sales to BW Group and BP Shipping. The latest order is a retrofit project for Norwegian ship management company Bergshav.<\/p>\n
