Speakers in the session include Olaf Doerk, Head of DNV\u2019s Maritime Advisory Center in Hamburg; Thomas Ingholt, Technical Director, Green Marine and Odd Rune Malterud, Assistant Director & Technical Manager, Norwegian Union of Marine Engineers. <\/p>\n

Olaf Doerk will look at the very real challenges ahead to ensure that all personnel have the required competences as new low-carbon fuels are implemented across the shipping sector. Thomas Ingholt will focus on Methanol, the gap in the IGF training curriculum and training for bunkering operations. <\/p>\n

As an experienced former Chief Engineer Odd Rune Malterud is now responsible for IMO\/ILO matters such as health, safety, security, welfare, environment, education, competence, certification in the Fisheries, Aquaculture, Shipping, Oil and Gas industries.  <\/p>\n
