Throughout these tests, W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 said that Aquarius UV solution demonstrated effectiveness, robustness and reliability.<\/p>\n<p>The UV technology utilises filtration and ultra-violet (UV) irradiation, while maintaining a high degree of safety and operability. According to W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4, it ensures compliance with regulations, even with varying levels of water quality.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s alternative BWMS technology, the W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 Aquarius EC (Electro-Chlorination), was granted USCG Type Approval in August 2018 and IMO Type Approval in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4\u2019s dual technology offers a broad range of BWMS solutions for fleet wide regulatory compliance.
