With over 20 years of experience in the maritime industry Sara Ravazza is the driving force behind the company\u2019s mission to lead the green transformation of inland and short sea shipping. She is an experienced Managing Director of large shipping companies, and now, as part of FPS, she is ready to accelerate the transition to fully zero emission shipping. <\/p>\n
The company offers zero-emissions inland and short-sea vessels for charter, enabling inland and short-sea vessels to move to zero. This is done by retrofitting existing diesel-propelled ships in partnership with their current owners who are looking to adopt a zero-emission business model. In cooperation with financial investors, FPS can cover the investments required for the retrofit. Cooperation between shipowner, FPS and investors is structured according to the needs of each individual case. <\/p>\n
FPS has already retrofitted two inland container vessels that are now fuelled 100% by green hydrogen. <\/p>\n
Through its consultancy services FPS is connecting green energy logistics service providers, cargo owners, shipowners and the maritime community and facilitating them in pursuing their sustainable shipping goals. <\/p>\n
