This background provides a solid foundation in physics, systems modelling, and algorithmic analysis, defining Julien’s approach to complex engineering challenges.

Julien served 8 years as research engineer at Thales, contributing significantly to the development of space observation systems. His role involved bridging theoretical research and operational engineering, where he managed R&D in composite structures, electromechanical system design, as well as satellite architectural design with multidisciplinary teams.

CWS designs and produces advanced, rigid, asymmetrical wings that harness wind energy to dramatically improve vessel efficiency and substantially reduce carbon emissions across global shipping operations.

In his CTO role, Julien directs all technological development, overseeing the integration of advanced aerodynamic modelling, innovative structure, and control systems. A key priority is guaranteeing the system reliability, durability, and safety of complex marine applications in harsh ocean environments. His current work reflects a strong commitment to applying engineering innovation toward reliable, sustainable solutions for global energy and transport challenges.

The Propulsion and Future Fuels conference takes place in less than a month, from 25-27 November in Hamburg.

You can view the full programme HERE

To hear from expert speakers, network with fellow professionals and keep up to date with the latest from the Propulsion and Future Fuels industry BOOK now.

For further details on any other aspect of the conference, please contact the Events team at info@propulsionconference.com or call +44 1329 825335.

Session 2 on Day 2 of the Propulsion and Future Fuels conference draws expert speakers together to discuss the challenges on standardisation, installation and regulation in the wind power industry.

[14,52
["post-1712","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news-pff","category-propulsion-future-fuels
["GET
