Torsten Mundt is senior policy officer at the German Federal Ministry of Transport (BMV) and is responsible for technical issues under MARPOL Annex VI of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), focusing on greenhouse gas and air pollutant reduction in maritime transport. He is involved with the Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC) and the relevant EU bodies. <\/p>\n
Mr. Mundt is the head of delegation for Germany to the IMO Subcommittee on Pollution Prevention and Control (PPR). studied ship machinery engineering at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), graduating in 1998 with a degree in engineering. <\/p>\n
Christoph Thiem is the Head of Fleet Innovation & Projects at Hapag-Lloyd. Together with his team, he is improving vessel performance and reducing the environmental footprint of Hapag-Lloyd\u2019s fleet by innovation and retrofit projects. <\/p>\n
Pernille Dahlgaard is the Chief Regulation & Policy Impact Officer at the M\u00e6rsk Mc-Kinney M\u00f8ller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping. In this role, she plays a pivotal part in driving the global transition towards sustainable shipping by leading efforts that improve decision-making and innovation through strategic planning, data analysis, regulation and bridge building between governments and the private sector. <\/p>\n
Maria Skipper Schwenn joined Bunker Holding as Director of Environmental Regulatory and Public Affairs in 2023. Maria represents Bunker Holding at the Global Board of Directors of IBIA and is also member of IBIA\u2019s delegation to the IMO. In addition, she chairs the EWABA Maritime Task Force. <\/p>\n
Lars Robert Pederson is co-Chairman of the Propulsion and Future Fuels conference. In his role at BIMCO he is responsible for technical and operational activities involving all technical and nautical issues within marine, environment, ship safety and maritime security. Lars Robert is furthermore responsible for BIMCO\u2019s activity related to regulatory developments in shipping at international, regional and national levels. <\/p>\n
