He holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Process Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mechanics, as well as a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Stian Aakre&nbsp;has been working in marine and shore-based applications of environmental technology for more than 30 years. He holds an MSc degree in physical chemistry from&nbsp;the&nbsp;Norwegian Institute of Technology. Prior to joining&nbsp;W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4&nbsp;in 2010 he served as Head of Environment for a major Norwegian ship-owner and as a consultant in environmental technology and sustainability.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Ren\u00e9 Sejer Laursen holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. Since 2020 Ren\u00e9 has worked for ABS in Copenhagen, working in the Global Sustainability Group as Director with responsibility for fuels and&nbsp;new technology.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>DI Peter&nbsp;Ranacher&nbsp;is working on&nbsp;a&nbsp;dissertation on greenhouse gases and their mitigation with a focus on carbon capture at LEC GmbH in Graz.&nbsp;He is working on the theoretical and simulation-based investigation of various CO2&nbsp;separation technologies for complex energy and propulsion systems.
