KHI delivers 177,000 m3 LNG carrier

Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) delivered on 15 February a 177,000 m3 capacity liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier, the SHINSHU MARU, to Trans Pacific Shipping 7, a joint venture between Japanese energy company JERA and NYK Line.

The SHINSHU MARU will be used to transport LNG from the Freeport LNG Project in Texas to Japan via the Panama Canal
