Yara Marine installs inline scrubber for 80MW ULCC engine

Emissions abatement specialist Yara Marine Technologies has successfully installed the world’s highest capacity inline hybrid scrubber aboard an ultra large capacity containership (ULCC) fitted with an 80MW capacity two-stroke engine.

Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Kai Låtun noted Yara Marine was the first to have completed a MARPOL test on a hybrid inline system for such a large engine.
