Bill to boost US shipbuilding reintroduced

Congressman John Garamendi (D-CA.) and Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS.) have reintroduced the ‘Energizing American Shipbuilding Act’ seeking to invigorate America’s shipbuilding and maritime industries by requiring that increasing percentages of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and crude oil exports be transported on US-built, flagged, and crewed vessels.
