Chengxi launches largest wood chip carrier

The first of a series of 70,000dwt wood chip carriers was launched at China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) subsidiary Chengxi Shipyard last week.

The new 5.00 million cubic feet wood chip carrier will be the largest such vessel in operation, surpassing Nova Carriers' Batavia Express .
