PowerCell inks hydrogen fuel cell deal

Sweden-based fuel cell supplier PowerCell Sweden AB has signed a contract with an undisclosed leading European shipyard regarding the development and delivery of a 3MW marine fuel cell system.

PowerCell's PEM fuel cells are being evaluated in several projects, including a Norwegian consortium developing a 3.2MW LH2-fuelled project for ferry operator Havila (pictured).
