ABB electric package for KNOT shuttle tankers

Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering has awarded ABB Marine & Ports the contract to deliver the power and control technology for two 124,000 dwt newbuilding shuttle tankers.

The innovative 124,000dwt shuttle tankers will feature dual-fuel propulsion, a VOC recovery system, as well as an ABB electrical package.
