BIMCO to appoint policy expert as IMO permanent representative

Dr Bev Mackenzie has been appointed to serve as the permanent representative of shipowner association BIMCO at the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Dr Mackenzie, who will leave the Institute of Marine Engineering Science & Technology (IMarEST) where she was Director of Technical & Policy, will take up the role on 1 February 2021.

Dr Mackenzie will take up the role as BIMCO's permanent representative at the IMO on 1 February 2021.
