ME-GI ENGINES FOR SEASPAN ULCS SERIES

MAN Energy Solutions has announced that Samsung Heavy Industries has confirmed the order of 10 × 8G95ME-GI10.5 engines in connection with the building of 10 × 15,000-teu containerships for Seaspan Corporation.

Seaspan has announced 37 newbuild orders since December, which will add a further 580,000 TEU to the fleet, including 6 x 15,500 TEU containerships on 30 March. (credit: Seaspan Corp)
