DNV AWARDS TYPE APPROVAL TO PRAXIS LFP BATTERY SYSTEM

Classification society DNV has granted Type Approval to a battery system supplied by Netherlands-based technology supplier Praxis. The GreenBattery energy storage system, which utilises lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cell technology, forms an integral part of the companys Mega-Guard Electric Propulsion solution.

Praxis' GreenBattery ESS has received a Type Approval from DNV.
