Wärtsilä launches new lighter, smaller IQ Series scrubber

Wärtsilä has announced the launch of a new more compact exhaust gas treatment system that offers significant weight and volume reductions. The new IQ Series is expected to be well suited to meet demand from the container vessel segment, the technology group announced. 

Wärtsilä new scrubber series is 30% smaller than previous scrubbers with a similar capacity.
