BV classification for new dual-fuel cruise ferry

Bureau Veritas has taken delivery into class the cruise ferry Salamanca, built at China Merchants Jinling in Weihai, China. The dual-fuel cruise ferry will serve the Bay of Biscay route between Portsmouth and Bilbao and Santander on Spain’s north coast.

The 1,015-passenger Salamanca will be operated by Brittany Ferries on a route between Portsmouth in the English Channel and Bilbao and Santander on Spain's Cantabrian coast.
