Japan’s first LNG-fuelled ferry launched

Mitsubishi Shipbuilding has launched the Sunflower Kurenai, the first of two large LNG-fuelled ferries being built for Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL). 

The Sunflower Kurenai is the first LNG-fuelled ferry to be built in Japan.
