Manager fined for violating ECA regulations

New York-based ship manager Ionian Management Inc. (IONIAN M) has been sentenced in the District of the Virgin Islands after pleading guilty to a violation of the Act to Prevent Pollution from Ships.

A New York-based ship manager, IONIAN M, has been ordered to pay a fine of US$250,000 and placed on probation for one year in the final stage of a multi-year investigation into ECA violations in the Caribbean.
