Socatra to retrofit Norsepower Rotor Sails on MR tanker

French ship owner and operator Socatra has signed an agreement with Norsepower Oy to install two Norsepower Rotor Sails on board a Medium Range Tanker, Alcyone. The installation will be the first for a client in the French market. The 50,000 dwt MR tanker is currently chartered by global energy company TotalEnergies.
