Liner giants headline call for IMO action at COP 28
A joint declaration by the leaders of a number of leading shipping line operators, including CMA-CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, Maersk, MSC and Wallenius Wilhelmsen at the COP 28 conference on Friday called for an end date for fossil-only powered newbuilds, and urged the IMO to create the regulatory conditions to help to accelerate the transition to green fuels.
