Battery-electric catamarans for Kattegat route to feature Wärtsilä waterjet propulsion

Wärtsilä has been contracted to deliver a fully integrated electric propulsion package with waterjets for two new high-speed catamaran ferries ordered by Danish operator Molslinjen. The vessels, which will be battery-electric, are under construction at the Incat yard in Tasmania.
