Chinese AHTS to Havyard design

The Havyard 843 CD is described as a medium-sized AHTS, at 81m length oa and 19.5m beam. It is capable of 17 knots. According to Havyard director for international projects, Bjørn Bergsnes,. “Kan Tan 225 is a complicated prototype of a high standard. The Chinese shipyard therefore uses slightly longer time on constructing this vessel compared to slightly easier types of vessels that they have previously constructed. It is very impressive to see what they now have managed to complete.”
