DNV GL to re-certify DDW quality systems
Dubai-based Drydocks World and Maritime World says that it has appointed DNV GL to provide re-certification services for its Quality Management Systems, in order to verify compliance with ISO 9001:2008 and to identify potential process improvement opportunities.
According to DDW, the certification is part of its drive to expand into the offshore market. It covers all processes related to product and service creation associated with Drydocks World & Maritime World operations, and will update processes to accommodate rig building and offshore construction, reduce costs, and improve the efficiency cycle in line with clients’ and customers’ recommendations. It also covers operations undertaken by DDW’s Global Offshore Services facility.
