Drydocks World completes world’s largest turret

Dubai-based Drydocks World has completed construction of an 11,000-tonne turret mooring system, designed to allow safe operation in extreme conditions for Shell’s floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) vessel ‘Prelude’.

The completion ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and chairman and chief executive of Emirates Airline and Group
