Investment brings ammonia bunkering closer

Yara and Navigator Holdings have led an investment round of €5.4m in Azane’s ammonia bunkering startup

The world’s first ammonia bunkering network is a step closer with the acquisition of nearly 30% in Norwegian startup, Azane Fuel Solutions.

Yara International’s venture arm and Navigator Holdings have each acquired a 14.5% stake in the company, a joint venture between ECONNECT Energy and Amon Maritime founded in 2020 to develop ammonia fuel handling technology and services.
