Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has identified significant opportunities to reduce the cost of green hydrogen and green ammonia exports from India through optimisating the entire production and logistics value chain, according to a new study commissioned by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry

The study examined the economic feasibility of producing green ammonia in India using the country’s highly competitive renewable energy resources before exporting it to Singapore for electricity generation and marine bunkering applications.
